Meet our Neighbors in Need – these are people all over the New England area who are in need of kidney donation from brave donors.
As of January, 2026, over 90,000 people are currently waiting for a kidney transplant in the United States. From constantly hoping for a donor match to weekly dialysis treatments, these brave souls are seeking donors who are willing to make the biggest difference in someone’s life.

Andrew Gilliam
Lakeland, FLAndrew “Andy” Gilliam is a devoted husband, father, pastor, and community servant who is currently seeking a living kidney donor to help him keep the living the life full of love, passion and dedication he has built over the years.
For nearly 30 years, Andy served with The Salvation Army as a pastor and director, helping individuals and families across the southeastern United States through disaster relief efforts, veterans programs, and more. Today, he continues to serve his community through his church, volunteer work, and emergency disaster training programs.
Family is at the heart of everything Andy does. As a proud father of two sons and loving husband, being a kind, strong, faith-driven man has always been Andy’s mission in life.
A living kidney donor would give Andy the opportunity to continue serving the people and causes he cares about most.
Larry Rubin
Nashua, NHLarry Rubin has lived with chronic kidney disease since he was just 10 years old, and today his condition has reached a critical point where a transplant is his only path forward.
A devoted husband, father of four, and leader of Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture, Larry has spent his life showing up for others—supporting his family, his employees, and his community. Now, his 19-year-old daughter Jill is asking for someone to show up for him.
A living kidney donor could give Larry a second chance at life, and since a person only needs one kidney to live a healthy life, one selfless decision could save his.

Michael Johnson
Framington, NHMichael Johnson is a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and hardworking member of his community who is currently seeking a living kidney donor.
Michael has been diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD), a condition that causes cysts to grow throughout the kidneys, gradually reducing their function. Earlier this year, his health took a sudden turn when doctors instructed him to go directly to the emergency room after discovering his kidney function had fallen to just 12%. Today, it has declined even further to 9%, and he is facing End Stage Renal Disease.
Despite the challenges of managing a strict kidney-friendly diet and preparing for the future, Michael remains focused on the people he loves most. He is the proud father of two sons and recently became a grandfather to a beautiful granddaughter.
A living kidney donor would give Michael the opportunity to continue making memories with his family and embracing the life he loves.
Kevin “KC” Cornish
Manchester, NHKC, founder of KC’s Rib Shack, has been serving up great BBQ and bringing joy to the Manchester community for over 25 years.
Today, he is battling End-Stage Renal Disease and undergoing dialysis multiple times a week, facing each day with strength and determination.
A living kidney donor could give KC a second chance at life—restoring his health and allowing him to continue doing what he loves most – bringing people together over some of the best BBQ in New Hampshire.
Matthew Silver
Long Island, NYMatthew Silver is widely known for his generosity as the founder of Long Island Fight for Charity, which has raised millions over the past 20 years to support those in need. Boxers and presenters from all over take part in these matches that bring tons of attention to all kinds of challenges communities and individuals often face.
A beloved husband, father, and friend, he is now facing kidney failure and urgently needs a transplant. Known for his strong leadership and great sense of humor, Matthew continues to inspire those around him as his family works tirelessly to find a matching donor.
